At Physio @ the Junction the aim is to have you standing strong physically and emotionally. Our programs are designed to support self management and independence, building the emotional and physical strength needed to help you live, play and perform at your best.
We incorporate the latest research and techniques into all of our patient care plans, balancing innovation with decades of experience. The physiotherapist team at the junction is located within a GP environment providing seamless care between GP’s and physiotherapists. By forming a partnership with the other medical professionals who look after your well-being there is a holistic approach to your treatment.
Our physiotherapists specialise in a number of areas including physiotherapy for the spine, lower limbs and cancer. The team have extensive experience in general and sport physiotherapy.

The Spine
Pain and injury can be debilitating and detract from your performance and enjoyment of life. A strong spine helps alleviate pain and, improves mobility and overall wellbeing. Physio @ the Junction uses the McKenzie technique to assess and treat the spine helping with:

Lower LimbS
Whether its a sporting injury or a medical condition, having knee, ankle, foot and hip impediments can have a significant impact on your day-to-day right through to your ability to achieve peak performance. The Physio @ the Junction team regularly support patients for the following lower limb physiotherapy needs:

Cancer
In recent times, due to personal experience, Adam has expanded his practice to provide nuanced exercise programs and strategies for people pre and post cancer surgery and for those undergoing or having completed cancer treatment. Adam has personally enjoyed physical and emotional benefits of these programs and wants to bring this experience to as many cancer patients as possible. Workcover/CTP
Physio @ the Junction is a registered Workcover provider under SIRA. We have extensive experience with the various aspects of Workcover and CTP system and care and can provide the support and treatment you need to return to work feeling strong.

ADAM LESLIE
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Having had a burning desire to become a physiotherapist since his school years, Adam escaped the corporate world in 2003 to pursue his passion. Upon completing his physiotherapy degree at the University of Newcastle in 2007 he commenced work as a physio in private practice. Adam has worked across the globe both in private practice and for a professional cycling teams in Norway and Australia and the Newcastle Jets Football Club A-League team.

Adam has a wealth of experience in functional exercise prescription and recovery programming having been a fully qualified personal trainer and fitness trainer since 2002. Over the last 21 years he has developed training programs for people of all levels of ability, participating in a raft of different pursuits.
